    Music photography

    Watching music video tv as a kid blew my mind. It was definitely the reason why I picked up a camera. Helping bands and artists with their image and visual story telling is one of my favorite things, be it promotional photos, documenting concerts or helping with social media content, it’s always a good time.

Values that guide my work

  • Experimentality
    Let's forget the rules of photography about what is real photography. If a new idea arises in the middle of the session, why not try it? The picture I make is rarely finished when it is saved on camera, editing and post-processing can be very critical.

  • Humanity
    Mutual respect for humanity between the photographer and the subject. This must be reflected in both the interaction and the end result. I don't for example edit acne away from my subjects, unless the client specifically requests it. I think it is in all our interests to show our humanity.

  • Intersectional feminism
    I take into account people's different starting points and needs. I use the most inclusive language possible and offer pricing and possible payment arrangements that take into account your socio-economic situation.

  • Ecological responsibility
    I try to make use of used and borrowed materials and equipment.

I am a creative based in Turku, west coast of Finland.

Visually I enjoy darker themes but creating a safer space for everyone involved is a top priority in my photography practice. My work is guided by so-called soft values.

I am inspired by interdisciplinary art, subcultures, DIY-spirit, queerness and working with other creatives.
